I expected a fun, little chick lit I could tolerate at this age when I thought I was over chick lit. I read it in five hours (I'm not a particularly fast reader so that's a feat for me) and I was bawling at 12 midnight beside my aunt whom I was bonding with. It Ends With Us- I picked it up because I was interested upon finding out one of the main characters was a doctor. As for Layla, it's just really not my genre, but it's Co Ho so I will probably read it eventually. As a 28/F, I just can't relate to the school setting anymore. Good for you if you found happiness in them.
